Dad Things (And Other Interesting Things) - Issue #7
I really should publish this more often. Since the last issue, too many things have happened. The pandemic continues to wreak havoc across the nation. The murder of George Floyd, Breonna Taylor, and the Black Lives Matter movement. It's completely insane that after almost 4 months, we're just barely easing up on shelter in place restrictions (although I think we should still stay home and stay away from enclosed places if at all possible).
Even with all that is going on, we should try to focus on what's good, because otherwise, everything just takes a toll on you.
Father's Day just passed, and since this newsletter IS called "Dad Things (And Other Interesting Things)", Happy belated Father's Day to all you dads out there and to my Dad. I turned 40. A birthday I won't ever forget. My kids are done with school and both are a year older. We're all healthy and we have each other. I'm thankful for that.
So with that, here are some interesting things I've stumbled across the past few weeks.
